Important to know if you plan a visit to Budapest
Because of the COVID pandemic, all countries have different entry rules. I definitely do recommend checking out these sites before you book a trip to Hungary. You will find the latest official information about border crossing, arriving at the international airports, tests, Digital COVID certificates, etc.
It’s good to know: from 2021 November 1 wearing a mask is obligatory when you travel on public transportation!
Update: since the beginning of 2022 March most of the restrictions are lifted, you don’t need to wear masks in shops, museums, or on public transportation.
